Alright, so I'm changing DA accounts. Why?

Well, when I set up this account back in 2004, I was expecting to use it strictly for writing - I wasn't an artist, didn't think I ever would be, etc.

Also during that time, I was interested in writing sci-fi/horror stories that sat on the edge of reality. After creating this account, I really wasn't able to write those stories. I don't know why; it's not that I'm not interested in it anymore, I just couldn't get through with the writing.

In 2005, I found out I had a talent for creating artwork on the computer. I was very critical of my work then, and didn't consider it as something to take off. I had even left DA because I didn't like some of the site's policies. When my high school blocked photobucket.com and I started having trouble registering my USB jump drive on the computers, I quickly realized that I needed somewhere else that I could store my work that would give me a lot of space - and DA was the only place that it would work. So I came back. But I was no longer using this account for writing - I was using it for art.

More and more recently, I've been thinking about how weird my account name sounds for an abstract artist - MysticalStoryteller may have a ring to it if your reading surrealist Sci-Fi, but it really doesn't make sense (in my head) if you're looking at art.

So I've created a new account and I'm abandoning this one as soon as I get the new account fully set up. I'll be re-watching everyone, and uploading a few of my favorite images to that account to get it started.
